Privacy Policy
Irodoku (“the App”) is a color-based Sudoku puzzle game. This policy explains what information the App handles and how it is used.
Summary
Irodoku does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information with us. Game progress and settings are stored on your device. On Android, that on-device data may also be included in your device’s Google backup if you have backup enabled.
Information stored on your device
The App may store the following locally on your device (for example via on-device preferences storage):
- Game settings (difficulty, color palette, sound, dark mode, chromatic mode)
- Gameplay progress (current or paused puzzle state)
- Local statistics (wins, streaks, best times)
- Achievement unlocks and related counters
This data is used only to run the App and remember your preferences. It is not uploaded to our servers.
Android device backup
On Android, the App opts into the system Auto Backup / device-transfer features so your on-device game data (settings, statistics, achievements, and related progress) can be backed up with your Google account’s device backup, if you have that enabled in system settings. Restore typically happens when you set up a new device or restore the App from backup. This is handled by the Android system and your Google account backup settings—not by Irodoku operating its own cloud account or servers. You can disable device backup in your Android system settings.
Information we do not collect
- No account or login is required
- No name, email, phone number, or payment information
- No advertising identifiers or third-party ads
- No analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs in the App
- No location data
Internet access
The App does not require an internet connection to play. If you use the web version hosted on GitHub Pages, standard web hosting and browser behavior may apply (for example, your browser requesting the page from GitHub’s servers). That hosting is separate from in-app gameplay data, which remains local.
Children’s privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal information to delete upon request beyond what you can clear by uninstalling the App or clearing app/browser storage.
Your choices
You can reset or remove locally stored data by clearing the App’s storage in your device settings, clearing site data in your browser (web version), or uninstalling the App.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
